About Us
Port City Pickleball Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making the sport of pickleball accessible to all—especially underserved youth in Mobile, Alabama, and the surrounding communities.

Our mission is to expand opportunities for young people by providing free instruction, educational programming, and community outreach centered around pickleball. Through these initiatives, we aim to foster physical wellness, teamwork, discipline, and inclusion both on and off the court.

At Port City Pickleball Club, we believe that pickleball is more than just a game—it’s a powerful tool for mentorship, personal growth, and community connection. By introducing the sport to those who might not otherwise have access, we’re helping to build confidence, encourage collaboration, and inspire positive change.

In addition to our youth programs, we partner with other local nonprofits and charitable organizations to host pickleball tournaments and leagues that serve as fundraising opportunities for their causes. These collaborations not only strengthen our community ties but also amplify the impact of charitable work across the Gulf Coast region.
Our Story
In January 2024, friends Andrew and Michael noticed something missing in the Mobile, Alabama pickleball community. The sport was booming, yet there were few opportunities for players to compete in well-organized tournaments — and even fewer events that gave back to meaningful causes.

Determined to make a difference both on and off the court, they founded Port City Pickleball Club, Inc. with a vision to unite the community through the game they love while creating a lasting social impact.

What started as an idea to improve local pickleball events quickly grew into a mission-driven nonprofit. Today, Port City Pickleball Club hosts tournaments, leagues, demo days, and free clinics designed not only to grow the sport but also to raise funds for local charities and expand opportunities for underserved youth in the Mobile area.
